Who we are

Atelier À Deux is a UK handbag brand run by two sisters. We are responsible for the personal data you give us on this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@atelieradeux.co.uk.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist we collect your email address, the date and time you joined, and a record of what you agreed to. If you joined through a friend's referral link, we also record whose link it was so we can credit their referral rewards. We don't ask for anything else.

How we use it

We use your email address to send you a welcome email and then emails about our launch and new pieces. We rely on your consent to do this. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us, and we'll stop straight away.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the waitlist: Supabase (where the list is stored), Resend (which sends our emails) and Vercel (which hosts this website). Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.

When you place an order

When you buy from us we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and order details. Payments are handled securely by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details. We use this information to make and deliver your order, send you order and tracking emails, and handle any returns. We rely on our contract with you to do this, and we keep order records for six years for tax and accounting purposes.

To make and send your bag, we share your name, phone number and delivery address with our production and fulfilment partners and the courier that delivers your parcel. Our production partners are based outside the UK, including in China. Where your data leaves the UK, we protect it with the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

Measuring our adverts

We advertise on Pinterest. When you join the waitlist or place an order, we tell Pinterest about it so we can see which of our adverts work. Before anything is sent, your email address (and, for orders, your name, phone number and delivery town and postcode) is scrambled into a code that can't be turned back into the original details, using a method called hashing. When you join the waitlist we also send your IP address and browser type, which Pinterest needs to match the sign-up. Pinterest uses this only to match the action to its own users and report results to us. We don't use cookies for this. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding our advertising. If you'd rather we didn't, email us and we'll stop.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep a note of your address only so we don't email you again.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent. Email hello@atelieradeux.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It may set a strictly necessary cookie to remember which region's prices to show you.
